Why be in a cage when you can escape it and stretch your wings out?

I always wondered why birds choose to stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere on the earth, and then I asked myself the same question. As it is said that Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore. Hence, I left my comfort zone, to experience the world.

How to travel the world affects my Life and Personality- I decided to put my steps in Rishikesh. Certainly, there was a flow of mixed emotions. I was excited, anxious, and nervous all at the same time. But I decided to step out of my comfort zone and explore myself. Finally, I reached my destination. There I realized that it was just not me who is travelling solo, but there were so many other people like me who are travelling solo for the first time. In a couple of moments, we interacted and became friends. How beautiful it is, that you meet people from different walks of life while travelling and the conversation turns into an unexpected friendship. We all stayed together, had fun and explored all the fantastic places in Rishikesh.

Really travelling can help us build lasting relationships with people from all over the world and expand our networks. Moreover, I understand, when we are travelling, we manage to do all the things on our own which definitely boosts self-confidence. Travelling also helps you in confronting your fears and limitations. My trip to Rishikesh taught me that leaving my comfort zone, if I can do this, is the thing which scares me a lot, why can’t I try and explore some other challenging things as well?

Whether it’s navigating an unfamiliar city or trying new cuisine, we are constantly challenged to adapt which makes us more adaptive. When we are in an unfamiliar environment, we are forced to think on our feet and find solutions to unexpected challenges. This makes us more solution-oriented, open-minded and resilient which are imp assets in both our personal and professional lives.

While travelling, you become more conscious of yourself. You take care of yourself and your stuff. And also travelling makes you fall in love with yourself along with the world. You enjoy your own vibes and company. If somebody accompanies you, you feel joy, but if nobody is there, it also doesn’t bother you. And I feel this attitude is most important in today’s life which travelling helps you to build.

When we travel the world and meet new people, we are exposed to new ways of life and different perspectives. And absolutely we are challenged to question our own beliefs and values. This exposure can help us develop empathy, build compassion and respect for others, and ultimately make us more tolerant and accepting individuals. When we are confronted with the vastness and diversity of the world, we are reminded of our place in it. This can be both humbling and inspiring.

It’s aptly said that with age comes wisdom, and with travel comes understanding. Because of Travelling, we learn to see the world from a different perspective and hence we develop a deeper understanding. You discover new things about yourself and the world around you. Also, when we go to natural places, we can experience zeal for peace. We spend time with ourselves and find our true inner calling. It helps to see our own lives and problems in a new manner. We learn more about ourselves and what we are capable of, which can lead to personal growth and self-discovery.

See the world, it’s more fantastic than any dream.

As human beings, we all have an innate curiosity to explore and discover new places, cultures, and experiences. And when we embark on a journey to explore the world, we not only broaden our horizons but also enrich our lives in ways that we could never have imagined.

We should travel not to escape life but for life not to escape us. So, certainly travelling gives you joy and refreshment. It truly has a transformative power to heal you. When we travel, we are something else and when we return, we are a different person altogether and that’s the magic of travel.

In such a way, travelling the world has a profound impact on our lives and personalities. Travelling leaves you speechless and then turns you into a storyteller who has stories to tell, experiences to share, things to convey and what not. All these words and experiences were mine but I know you could also feel them.

Travelling can have many benefits for both your physical and mental health, as well as for your personal growth and development. Here are some ways in which travelling can help you:
